A word from the owner: Greg Preston

Our goal at CAMDEN LOCH PAINTING is to deliver a finished product to our customers that is on time, on budget and to a level of quality that exceeds their expectations.

 

We recognize that having contractors working on your premises is disruptive and can feel intrusive. Whether we are contracted to work in an Extended Care Facility, Social Housing complex, business or strata, CAMDEN LOCH PAINTING makes sure from the outset that all work is carefully planned to minimize operational disruptions or disturbances. In addition, our wide range of experience ensures that those painters engaged in your project will be familiar with and sensitive to your particular environment.

First, we meet with the customer to set a rigorous specification for the job, which includes levels of prep necessary, colour schedules, as well as selecting the paint products that are most appropriate for your particular project. Next, we create a logical work plan for the job, establish safety protocols and install site protection. The customer is consulted at all stages and all work is performed to Master Painters and Decorators Association standards. Wherever possible, low VOC or no VOC materials are used to minimize negative effects to the environment.

All our skilled tradesmen have been with the company for a long time and know exactly what it takes to produce a superior, long lasting paint job. Quality painting work always begins with proper surface preparation. CAMDEN LOCH PAINTING has an excellent track record in all areas of surface preparation using both manual and mechanical techniques. This preliminary work and the correct use of substrate specific primers and fillers is essential for the final top coats to perform as intended - which greatly extends the maintenance lifecycle of your home or business.

Subcontractors

My company does not subcontract any of its painting work - which is becoming unusual in the industry. This fact is important because it guarantees that the company that you hire for your project is the same company that arrives to complete the work. Unfortunately, some painting sub-contractors do not receive enough of the contract budget to do the work as specified and consequently quality suffers.

 

By contrast, our “hands on” approach to each contract leads to real accountability for the work being produced and our customers see the difference. Each job is closely supervised and any customer concerns are dealt with immediately - before there is a problem.

All work is performed by bona fide employees of CAMDEN LOCH PAINTING who are compensated at an hourly rate. We carry all appropriate liability insurance and each worker is fully insured against injury as we are registered and in good standing with Work Safe BC.
